My name is Melevao Fililava. Growing up on a small island of Tonga with a very close community, I learned that helping others will always lead you to do great work. In May 2021, I was selected for the US Diversity Lottery. It was hard for me to find a trustworthy immigration consultant who would help with our diversity lottery application. To recall these memories, I remember going into huge research on how to fully complete this process in the right way. I gather all the information and make sure that we have all the requirements ready for our Green Card interview. From that day on, I realized that I could utilize the skills and knowledge that I have gained from my own experience to support my own community or my Pacifica community in living the American Dream.

When I arrived in the States after two weeks, my husband and I received our Green Card and social security numbers at our mailing address. It was a life-changing experience for me and my little family to have this opportunity. The feeling of being able to work, study, and live in the United States became something that I also wanted to share with others. This led me to this career as an immigration consultant to help my own people with all my skills and experience so that they may enjoy the same opportunities that I have.
